L’erba del vicino is a photography book conceived as a media translation artifact of the fairytale La penna di Hu by Italo Calvino.
The project aims to be a sensory amplification experience for the user. The theme of envy here is transposed into a series of images and sounds, which permit the comprehension of the story without the text medium. Here the importance of the images, which need to represent in a very clear way the action of the main characters who take part in the narration. It was chosen to shot the photos in an unrealistic environment to facilitate visual perception, in order to obtain an explicit narration.
