PLASTIC SCULPTURES
2019
Cover series for Nottetempo
CFP Bauer Lab
Supervised by Obelo Milano
The aim was to design the covers of a series for the Italian publishing house Nottetempo.
As I could experiment differently in Camera Obscura, I pursue the idea to use some waste material (in this case plastic bottles), giving them a second life, by modeling and transforming it, to reach interesting shapes that would be used as the subject of the future photograms. The nature of the material chosen gave me the possibility to experiment a lot with transparency and reflection, two fundamental characteristics need to take account in camera obscura. The results are some organic and fluctuating shapes - which remanded to magic, poetic, and dreaming imaginary, seems to be a perfect matching witch the Poeti series of Nottetempo.
