Written in 1959, the story is set in the city of Milan in a period of economic boom, and narrates about of one of the bad nights by a group of teddy boys. The project decides to support the text using a parallel visual narration, which concretized in a collection of photographs – all taken with a particular technique –, taking care of some essential elements for the storytelling, representing some of the most significant places of Milan.

The Visual Book is a graphic artifact that allows to increase the possibilities of a text in terms of readability, preserving its fundamental characteristics. The purpose of the visual book is therefore to offer another level of experience over the mere act of reading. The project offers an interpretative journey to the reader, leading his imagination without restricting his flow. As consequence, the reader covers an active role following a personal, customized journey, that will lead in diverse directions depending on the subject.
